The 2nd MANNAM Victory Cup in Daejoen.

May. 3. 2013, MANNAM Jeonju branch players took part in Victory Cup Basketball league in Daejeon. There were bunch of people waited for us to welcome. It had been a long time since we met members from other branches. I was excited.

At first, the match was started with the opening ceremony. MANNAM members and some cheerleaders cheered us with dancing. We played a game after the ceremony.

It wasn't a nice game for us. Since it was winter time, our players hadn't practiced at all. I was thinking that we would be lucky. However, sadly, the opponent team was so professional that we lost the game. I was sorry for my team members.

Although we lost, we played the game fairly. And no matter what we did, I was glad I could participate this MANNAM match. Because a part of the entry fee we had paid would be donated to the people in need. I was also happy that I could help neighbors in need through doing my favorite sport.

MANNAM had been doing many meaningful works now and in a future as well. Like the meaning of the word "MANNAM" in Korean, which is "meeting", I expect to meet more great event and nice people in MANNAM Volunteer Association.

About MANNAM Sports Event-VICTORY CUP

International MANNAM Volunteer Association hosts a big sports event called VICTORY CUP.

All the MANNAM branches get together and cheer their players and have a good time on that day.

I heard the VICTORY CUP Soccer match is going to be held soon. Wow!!

Jeonju branch is in a hurry preparing this big match!

By the way, someone asked me why does MANNAM hold the sports event?

Is it a part of the volunteer?

OK. I am going to let you know about it.

MANNAM volunteer group has a goal which is the "World Peace".

We are doing not only help people in need but also host a big event to make people unite.

This is the aim of the upcoming event.

MANNAM volunteer association introduces the MANNAM Victory Cup League. First Victory Cup was a competition, now we’ve moved on to a league for our 2nd Victory Cup. The ultimate goal for the world’s best renown MANNAM Volunteer Association, is to spread the sport of Soccer to the foreigners residing in Korea, for easy access of a community that has no boundaries of culture, language, background. We want to pervade this unity through soccer and be able to realistically reach world peace. The following competition has another motive to help out the community in need with donations and spread as a light to give love.

That's the reason why MANNAM hosts this sports event.

In winter time, my branch was lazy to exercise because it was so cold outside. But now, Spring is here!! Let's do it again. : )
