"No frontier in doing something good"

The Gyeonggi bukbu branch of the International division of MANNAM Volunteer Association (hereafter referred to as Mannam International/ Branch Chief Jung Jaeyoung) hold the trash clean up campaign in Bukchon Hanok village, Jongno-gu on 28 April.
This event in tandem with Jongno-gu office was designed to promote awareness of the excellence of Korean traditional culture and the importance of the environmental preservation to mark 'Earth day'.
Especially, starting with walking around the eight famous spots in Bukchon from both Jungdok tourist information office and Jaedong tourist information office simultaneously, the Bukchon Hanok village tour of 'Street museum in the town center' finished experiencing the beautiful and historic street and alley of the Hanok village.
A volunteer, Ahmad (Saudi Arabia, 27) said, "It was very impressive that we were able to do volunteer work watching the beautiful street of Bukchon Hanok village. Moreover, I had a great time with Mannam people and I would like to participate in the volunteer work with them continuously."
The chief of the Gyeonggi bukbu branch said, "It was the heart moving day when we became one, beyond nationality and race, with foreign friends thru volunteer work and it also showed a good example to people. We plan to perform volunteer work to contribute to the society and to become the light of the world in a variety of ways.
Mannam Internationl has held various activities like sports with and Korean class for foreigners in Korea, and played a role of a nongovernmental peace delegator which transcends religion and race and achieves the true harmony.
